Hey, who is this Michael J. Stiehl guy anyway?

Michael J. Stiehl writes dark fantasy, horror, and stories that wander between genres—blending mystery, adventure, and whatever else he can sneak in. After years in academia, he ditched scholarly articles to write the kinds of stories that first made him fall in love with reading in the first place: strange, thrilling, and always with a little heart.

He lives in the Chicago suburbs with his wife, two kids, and their very silly poodle, Jack. When he's not writing fiction, he's usually riding bikes, camping, playing D&D, or listening to music way too loud. Basically, he hasn't changed a bit since junior high.

His stories have been published by Rogue Blades Entertainment, Black Hare Press, and World Castle Publishing. His novellas include Sanctuary, the Bauer Ranch, and The Maiden's Sleep.
